How Petal Dental Began
Dr. Yashoni Shah founded Petal Dental with a simple belief: dental care shouldn't feel intimidating. Growing up in India, Dr. Shah feared the dentist before she became one herself, having multiple teeth extracted and two root canals before the age of 12. That early experience taught her exactly how it feels to sit in the chair anxious and unsure, and it became her mission to build something different.
Today, Petal Dental serves families across the Kansas City area with two locations, one in Overland Park, KS and one in Overland Park, KS, both designed around the same idea: gentle, modern dentistry delivered in a spa-like, judgment-free environment.
